Chuadanga travel guide, Khulna Division

Chuadanga is a farming district in the south-west on the border with West Bengal, drained by the Mathabhanga, Chitra and Nabaganga rivers. Its railway station, opened in 1862, is one of the oldest in the country, and Darsana is home to Carew & Co, a long-established sugar and distillery works. Cotton and other crops are widely grown. About 1.23 million people live in roughly 1,174 km² (2022 census).
