Natore travel guide, Rajshahi Division

Natore lies in the heart of Rajshahi Division, with the Padma at its southern tip, the Atrai flowing through its centre and part of the Chalan Beel, a vast wetland, in the east. The Natore Rajbari, palace of the 18th-century Rani Bhabani, and the Uttara Gonobhaban at Dighapatia are its best-known landmarks. The town is famous for the milk sweet kacha golla, and the district runs two sugar mills. About 1.86 million people live in roughly 1,900 km² (2022 census).
