About Tin Bigha Corridor

The Tin Bigha Corridor in Patgram upazila of Lalmonirhat is a strip of Indian land, about 178 by 85 m, that connects the Bangladeshi enclave of Dahagram–Angarpota to the rest of Bangladesh. Under a 1974 agreement India was to hand it over in exchange for South Berubari, but the transfer needed a constitutional amendment that never passed.

Instead India leased the corridor to Bangladesh in September 2011. Dahagram–Angarpota is the only enclave that remained after the India–Bangladesh enclave exchange of 2015.
